Although I've skied since the age of five it wasnt until I was 20 that a trip to Verbier changed the course of my life.
It was 1999 and I was living in Geneva learning French whle I worked as a horse trainer. I took a trip to nerby alp vilage Verbier, where my arrival in the resort co-incided with a massive dump of fresh snow, the joys of which i'd never experienced. Each day I hit the mountain making fresh tracks in virgin powder, and from that momen on skiing became an all cosuming passion.
I stayed until the end of the season, returning home to Sweden to finish my studies but determined to pursue the new love of my life. In 2000 I travelled to New Zealand to visit friends on the North Island, but could'nt resist a 2 month detour to chase the snow in Wanaka.
There some freeriders suggested that I compete in the national competitions, so in 2000 I entered the NZ freeskiing championships....and won.
Since then I've been lucky enough to travel the world with the support of my sponsors in pursuit of the thrills that only freeride can provide.
