Ane Enderud, has been 2 times Freeride World Tour Champion.
She grew up in Oslo and made her first turns in Hemsedal. The 31-year-old Norwegian is now living in the freeski mekka Chamonix, which is of course a fitting place for a Freeride World Champion. It was there in Chamonix where the former alpine racer Ane started her career as a freerider. Ironically, this friendly Norse didn‘t plan to start freeriding professionally when she moved to France. After the monotony of the race course she resigned from the Norwegian national racing team and moved to Chamonix to enjoy a season of snow with two of her friends. She didn't even take any skis, instead she took to a snowboard and a pair of telemarks.
Her passion for downhill biking and surfing combined with a new found freedom in her mountain time laid the cornerstones to Ane's calling, as a freeride skier. Besides skiing Ane is studying nutritional science and can imagine herself settling into this role after her skiing career, as she wants to continue working within sports. However, for the moment skiing is securely on the top of her menu.
What Maker bindings do you use? And where do you mount them?
I am just about to stop using WC bindings that I used while doing competitions. Now its Jester and Duke I use most.
What DIN do you have your bindings on?
11-14 depending on what kind of skiing Im doing

Favorite skier: Not one favorite..its many sick riders out there who inspires.
Ski hero growing up: Growing up I was racing so not many freeskiers in my mind. And I never used to be a big hero fanatic...people around me inspires me in different aspects of life.
Home mountain: Chamonix is what I consider as my home mountain even I am raised on the slopes in Hemsedal and Oslo

Ideal day in the mountains: The classic one with powder, sun and friends. If I can add some steeps its perfect!
How would you describe your style: Solid and fast, like it in the steeper terrain
Your biggest breakthrough in your skiing career. Winning the Freeride World Tour overall the two times I skied it. But the biggest is to be able to still ski alot

Best snow trip: Wow, thats hard to remember one spesific..its luckily been a few :)
